Former Bachelorette Clare Crawley got engaged to Ryan Dawkins in October 2022, shortly after introducing him to Bachelor Nation a month prior.
The two officially tied the knot in 2023, and welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Rowen via surrogate in January 2024.
Clare has been keeping fans updated with her life online, and recently opened up about struggling with a medical condition.
In a new post on Instagram, she revealed, “finally shared something I’ve kept hidden: my journey with TSW (Topical Steroid Withdrawal). For those who missed it, I just want to say — I’m still in it. I don’t have the answers. I’m not on the other side with a shiny bow tied around it. But I couldn’t keep quiet anymore.”
Clare continued, sharing how struggling with topical steroid withdrawal has affected her.
She expressed, “Speaking the truth felt terrifying… and also deeply freeing. What I once saw as something to be ashamed of — my raw skin, my struggle, my limits — has become something else entirely: a reflection of my humanness.”
Clare finished her post, sharing where she is currently in her healing journey.
“I’m still walking through this, moment by moment. But sharing it is part of my healing now,” she admitted. “And if you’re in the middle of something hard too, I hope this reminds you — you’re not alone. 💕”
The former Bachelorette also posted on her Instagram Story the reason why she decided to share about her TSW journey.
“I share glimpses of my TSW journey not for sympathy, but for honesty. This is my real, everyday life — and I’m choosing to show up in it, not hide from it,” she stated. “TSW is tough, and most of us going through it just want to feel normal — not pitied. That’s why I share: to help normalize this and maybe make it a little easier for the next person who does feel the need to hide in fear of people’s judgements, comments, or unsolicited advice.”
