Clіmbіng tһe Lаdder: Sebаstіаn Aһo Beсomes Tһіrd All-Tіme іn Frаnсһіse Poіnts

The Finnish center has cemented himself as one of the franchise's all-time greats.

With his three-goal performance last night against the Washington Capitals, Sebastian Aho has passed Kevin Dineen for the third most points in franchise history.

Aho, who was in a tie with Dineen (544) heading into Friday's matchup, passed him with his first period tally, but he added two more to pad the lead

Not only did the Finnish centerman pass him, but he did it in 120 less games too.

He now trails only Eric Staal (775) and Ron Francis (1,175) for the most points in franhise history.

Aho has accomplished quite a few milestones this season: 500 career points, passing his head coach, Rod Brind'Amour, for fourth most points, the franchise record for shorthanded goals and it seems like the world's the limit for him.

In addition, Aho registered his eighth career hat trick yesterday, which again,  trails only Staal (13) and Francis (9) in franchise history.

Aho is now in his third straight 30+ goal season and is on pace for the third 80-point season of his career.

His career high in points is 83 which he set in the 2018-19 season so it's safe to say he'll set a new one this year.
