The Indianapolis Colts filled some holes on their roster through free agency already this offseason.
And in a new A to Z Sports' 2025 NFL Mock Draft, they land a dynamic player who could be the final piece of the puzzle of their new-look defense.
Colts select Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell in a new 2025 NFL Mock Draft

"There are a lot of rumors swirling around the love that the Colts have for Campbell. He is a long and extremely athletic second level defender who can make plays against the run, in coverage, and rushing the passer. That versatility is a big sell."
- New 2025 A to Z Sports' Mock Draft
I don't think there is a single player who had a better week at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine than Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell. On top of showing off his elite athleticism on the field, multiple league sources shared that he impressed teams in meetings.
The Colts put a major focus this offseason on improving their secondary by signing Charvarius Ward and Camryn Bynum. The biggest hole remaining on their defense is linebacker with 2024 starer EJ Speed now a free agent. So landing Campbell could be the final pieze of the puzzle the Colts have been busy assemplying all offseason. And it would give new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo quite the chess piece to use during his first season in Indianapolis.
