NBC has officially confirmed that many of your favorite stars from Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med will return for the upcoming fall season, much to the relief of longtime fans. The network's announcement puts to rest months of speculation about cast departures, giving viewers a clear picture of what to expect in the next chapter of the One Chicago franchise.

On Chicago P.D., Jason Beghe will once again lead the Intelligence Unit as Hank Voight, joined by LaRoyce Hawkins (Kevin Atwater), Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess), Patrick John Flueger (Adam Ruzek), and Benjamin Levy Aguilar (Dante Torres). Tracy Spiridakos (Hailey Upton) is also returning, but fans should prepare for an emotional exit, as Season 13 will be her last.

Meanwhile, Chicago Fire is set for a powerful return with Taylor Kinney reprising his role as Kelly Severide. After a brief leave of absence, his comeback has generated serious buzz. Joining him are Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd), David Eigenberg (Christopher Herrmann), Joe Minoso (Joe Cruz), and Hanako Greensmith (Violet Mikami). Although Kara Killmer (Sylvie Brett) has exited the series, her character's impact will still be felt at Firehouse 51.

Over at Chicago Med, the core medical team remains intact. S. Epatha Merkerson (Sharon Goodwin), Oliver Platt (Dr. Daniel Charles), Marlyne Barrett (Maggie Lockwood), Dominic Rains (Dr. Crockett Marcel), and Jessy Schram (Dr. Hannah Asher) are all confirmed to return. With Nick Gehlfuss no longer part of the cast, the show will continue to develop new dynamics among its dedicated hospital staff.

Beyond returning stars, NBC has teased fresh faces and at least two major crossover events this season, promising high-stakes emergencies and dramatic emotional arcs that span across all three shows. The One Chicago universe isn’t just surviving—it’s thriving.

With beloved characters coming back, emotionally charged storylines ahead, and a strong ensemble across the board, the fall return of the One Chicago franchise is shaping up to be must-watch TV.
