Countdown to Disaster: General Hospital Just Lit the Fuse to Blow Up Drew and Willow’s Wedding!

GH mashup Curtis. Nina, Drew, Willow

Ah, what a tangled web we weave. Tracy’s backed Nina into a corner on General Hospital, pushing her to publicly go after Sonny, or she’ll tell Willow about her mom’s affair with Drew. Nina, in turn, went to Curtis, offering to give him some real dirt on Sonny to publish. That’s all well and good, but what Curtis really wants is to take down Drew. Nina, unfortunately, can’t help him with that. Or can she?

Well, whether she likes it or not, it looks like Nina’s become the key to Drew! Because while he assured her that sometimes you have to betray a friend for the greater good — talking, as far as she knew, about her and Sonny — he was actually thinking about Nina sleeping with Drew. Out that to Willow, and Drew’s relationship implodes, which, if we’re being honest, is what pushed him down this utterly insufferable path to begin with!

Now, there are a couple ways Curtis could go about betraying Nina like this. He could publish a story on her and Drew, but where’s the fun in that? Plus, that seems kind of… gossipy and Drew is still a stockholder in Aurora. Mucking with the company doesn’t seem like a good idea. Instead, Curtis could just tell Willow any time he wants. But we’ve also learned that Willow and Drew’s wedding is at the end of the month, and what better time to reveal Nina’s betrayal?

Curtis and Drew argue GH

Make Drew squander a whole lot of resources planning some big, elaborate wedding, wait until the big day, then pull the rug out from under him in the most humiliating, painful way possible. Willow would be heartbroken by the betrayal of her mother and fiancé and call the whole thing off, with Drew left alone and isolated.

Of course, that would also be an especially cruel thing to do to Willow and Nina, who went to Curtis specifically to keep that secret from coming out! Would Curtis really be that vindictive? Drew’s certainly been that vindictive to Curtis and his loved ones. But still, if this wasn’t Port Charles, we might be tempted to say no. But in this town, there’s no better time to blow up a life or two than at a wedding!
