Craig answers Andy Cohen’s burning questions about his TODAY co-hosts on ‘WWHL’

Al Roker has certainly made an impression on the TODAY family!

While appearing on the June 19 episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Craig Melvin was asked a series of rapid fire questions, in which he had to answer by choosing one of his TODAY on-air colleagues.

Spoiler alert: Al stole the show.

“Who takes the longest in hair and makeup?” Cohen began.

“Oh, come on, Andy. The longest?” Craig said.

“Roker?” guessed Cohen.

“Roker,” Craig confirmed.

Craig then said Al "goes off the cuff" the most and credited NBC’s parent company Comcast for picking up the tab when they go out to dinner.

When it comes to who provides the most feedback about the costumes they wear during TODAY’s well-known Halloween show, Craig said everyone does.

“All of us equally,” he said.

Craig then dished on the Halloween when Al got dressed as Charlie Brown, which Cohen didn’t like.

“It was terrible. It was the worst year ever,” he said.

“We still talk about it,” Craig said. “That was the worst, hands down.”

Craig said his favorite costume was from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” before he returned to Al, saying he’s the person he hangs out with most off-camera and the one on the show who most often flubs his lines.

Craig said Carson Daly is the one who leaves the show the quickest and pointed to him as being the most caffeinated.

Craig then again referenced Al when asked who is the most fun to travel with.

“Roker, you know why? Because when you walk through the airport with Al Roker, it’s like you’re walking through the airport with Jesus Christ,” he said.

Craig also had some love for Savannah Guthrie, whom he says gave him the best piece of advice when he started on TODAY.

“S.G. was like, ‘Eighty percent of this job is just showing up,’ just being here, being here every morning,” he said.
