Craig Conover isn’t just stitching pillows anymore—he’s stitching together a multiverse of Bravo fame, business ventures, and nostalgic Easter eggs. In the span of one chaotic week, the “Southern Charm” star appeared in the most iconic alley on “Vanderpump Rules,” and pitched his eight-figure brand Sewing Down South at the U.S. Capitol.

In a recent Instagram post titled “match my chaos,” Conover included a seemingly random but unmistakable image: himself standing in the infamous back alley of SUR. Fans immediately clocked the location—ground zero for Bravo’s most unhinged meltdowns and iconic showdowns on “Vanderpump Rules.”
The alley has seen it all, from Lisa Vanderpump confronting drunken SURvers to tattoo reveals and tearful exits. It’s where Jax Taylor got fired (again), where Ariana Madix screamed truths, and where secrets were screamed louder than club music.
“Something about that alley just gets everyone riled the (expletive) up,” one Reddit user recently proclaimed—and Conover’s arrival there only adds to the alley’s legacy. He kept it caption-free, but the image felt like a subtle hat tip to the Bravo gods.
The ‘Southern Charm’ Star Also Headed to Capitol Hill

After bouncing from the Bravo landmark, Conover took his talents to the nation’s capital. On May 20, he presented Sewing Down South at the annual Small Business Showcase inside the U.S. Capitol.
“I have to wear a tie today because I have a presentation in D.C.,” he told fans on Instagram. “It took me three tries to tie it… but I used to be in one all the time.”
Conover joined more than 25 entrepreneurs to highlight how their brands are contributing to the economy. His home goods company—launched in 2018—now boasts eight-figure sales and a loyal following. He even gave a shout-out to “Spritz Society,” the sparkling cocktail brand he’s invested in.
“Just presented Sewing Down South to the Small Business Committee… Pretty awesome. One foot in front of the other,” he said after the event.
