The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Eric Forrester (John McCook) might not have always been the nice guy that he’s been trying to portray himself to be these days.
In fact, a lot of fans still get the “ick” over the fact that “creepy” Eric pursued Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) when she was much younger.
Eric Forrester Is The Ultimate Creep
As many fans can recall, Eric pursued Brooke right after Ridge married Caroline. However, many critics point out that he never should have been interested in Brooke at all after the relationship that Brooke and Ridge had been in.
They loved each other and Eric was old enough to be Brooke’s father, right? This is why so many fans just can’t help but give Eric the side eye, especially now that he’s been trying to encourage Ridge to get back together again with the one and only love of his life, Brooke Logan.
As our readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some have even commented with, “Really, he never should have been interested in Brooke at all after the relationship that Brooke and Ridge had been in. They loved each other and Eric was old enough to be Brooke’s father.”
Eric Still Gives Fans The ‘Ick’
Another fan wrote, “This is what I saw. As much as I loved Stephanie, Eric was right to leave the marriage. But there was NO WAY IN HELL he should have taken up with the daughter of his former lover, and his son’s discarded fiancee.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Brooke was not without agency. She was flattered, alone, and hurting, and Eric had been protective of her.”
“Plus, Stephanie had been such a bully toward her. She had no reason to care about the end of Stephanie’s marriage after Steffy literally gloated in Brooke’s face over losing Ridge.”
