Last night, 2024 Chicago Cubs first-rounder Cam Smith hit his first professional home run in the top of the 8th inning for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. And that was a particularly welcome sight after a slow (but completely understandable) first week and a half.
But maybe he’s finally settling in. After a two-hit performance on Saturday and the homer last night, Smith has homered once again here tonight. Check it out:
