It’s time to put on your ballroom shoes once again!
On Wednesday, Sept. 4, the season 33 cast of Dancing with the Stars was finally revealed on Good Morning America.

Heading into the Sept. 4 announcement, fans already knew that Olympic bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik would be vying for the mirrorball trophy after he was revealed as the first celebrity contestant to join season 33. Nedoroscik, also fondly known on the internet as the "pommel horse guy," helped propel Team USA to win bronze at the men’s gymnastics team final at the 2024 Paris Olympics — their first medal in 16 years. He'll be paired with Rylee Arnold.
Ahead of the cast reveal, PEOPLE exclusively confirmed that Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro were returning to co-host season 33, while Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough would be returning to the judges’ panel.
Ribeiro, 52, joined Dancing with the Stars as a co-host alongside Tyra Banks in season 31 — the same season that the beloved series moved to stream on Disney+ instead of airing live on ABC, where it first debuted. His co-hosting debut came eight years after competing on — and winning — season 19.
Julianne, 36, joined as a co-host in season 32, days after ABC announced in March 2023 that Banks was stepping away from her hosting gig following three seasons. The actress previously starred as a pro dancer on DWTS from 2007 to 2009. She later returned as a judge for six seasons between 2014 and 2021.
As for the judges, Inaba, 56, and Tonioli, 68, have been serving in their roles since DWTS' start on ABC in June 2005.
Derek, 39, joined the series as a judge in season 29 and has continued to serve on the judging panel ever since. He was originally a pro dancer on the series from seasons 5 through 11. Though he took a break for season 12, he returned for seasons 13-21 and again in season 23.
In September 2020, it was announced that he would be returning to the show in a judging capacity. "This show has been and will always be incredibly special to me," Derek said in a statement at the time. "Coming back feels like coming home and I couldn’t be more excited to be back in the ballroom."
Dancing with the Stars is produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions. Season 33 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with the episode available to stream the next day on Hulu.
