Danielle Staub claimed Margaret Josephs told her she hired girls to create over 200 “fake accounts” and “go after people” on social media amid her drama with co-stars on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
When Danielle was still on the show, she and Margaret feuded continually, but they started off as allies. Several castmates claim Margaret has an ‘arsenal’ of information on the cast, and she’s ready to use it on anyone who crosses her.
Recently, a social media account claimed Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin leaked information about storylines. But Jackie Goldschneider suggested that many of the stars use shady tactics on social media.
In a video shared by @AllRhonj on X, Danielle stated that Margaret has roughly 275 “fake accounts” that she uses to “attack” people on social media.
She said Margaret specifically attacked Danielle and Siggy Flicker.
“But [Margaret] forgot that she let me know that that’s what [name redacted] and all those girls she was hiring were doing all day long. Just going online and creating fake accounts so that she could go after people.”
“I don’t know people that do those kinds of things,” Danielle added. “So it’s interesting.”
In a 2023 interview for the AllAboutTRH podcast, Siggy claimed RHONJ producers have dinner at Margaret’s house and protect her in the editing room.
“You have to think about it. What does Margaret bring to the show? She has no storyline. She has no real big family,” said Siggy. “But what they love about her is she will go into the dark places where no one dares.”
“It’s not [reality]. It’s not real when producers are stopping everything and whispering in certain ears … So if I’m sitting there and somebody’s whispering in Margaret’s ear, or somebody’s ear, ‘Say this, say this’ — [it’s] because they want to get a reaction out of that other person … Anything they tell [Margaret] to do, she will do,” she went on.
But according to Siggy, Margaret avoids the consequences because she’s “protected in the editing room.”
She claimed one of the reasons she left RHONJ is because Margaret “reached out to my husband Michael Campanella’s ex-wife.”
Siggy shared that her husband later told her: “‘Honey, we got to protect our kids.’ And at that time, our kids were still babies. They were still young.”
“I said [at the time] … They’re gonna bring [Margaret] on to try to do something and hurt the kids and whatever it was, why would she need to have [a] conversation and interaction or a call [with] my husband’s ex-wife?” asked Siggy. “That is exactly who she is.”
