David Pastrnak had some kind words about this Boston Bruins forward.
During the Boston Bruins' latest matchup against the Florida Panthers, old friend A.J. Greer hit David Pastrnak from behind. This immediately led Pavel Zacha, a player who is not known for fighting, to drop the gloves with Greer.
When reporters asked about the fight, Pastrnak made sure to give Zacha a nice shoutout. Here is what No. 88 said about his linemate:
"You appreciate that guy having your back, you know? You want to make sure he knows you would do the same for him. So, I obviously appreciate it, and I’m proud of him.”
Although Greer is known for his fighting skills and toughness, Zacha still stood up for Pastrnak. Because of this, he certainly earned this praise from Pastrnak.
Pastrnak and Zacha will now look to lead the Bruins to victory over the struggling Colorado Avalanche tonight (Oct. 16)
