Cherie Jimenez is addressing the rumors.
The 37-year-old actress, who plays Gabi on Days of Our Lives, is speaking out amid rumors of an exit from the long-running soap opera TV series.
In a recent post on social media, Cherie addressed rumors that she might be leaving the show amid some fan criticism and bullying for taking over the role left by Camila Banus after 13 years.
“I guess there’s a rumor going around that I’m leaving Dool,” she began in a post on X.
“So I just wanted to squash that right now by letting y’all know I’m not going anywhere. I love playing Gabi & everyone at #Days ⏳♥️✨,” she concluded.
“I feel incredibly blessed to be in this position and to have the opportunity to be on such an iconic show,” she told Soaps.com after she joined the show.
There has been one confirmed exit from the series this month that has left fans shocked.
