Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) has shown her bad side and what she is capable of.
However, she is also Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) daughter, so she has good in her too. With the little girl freaking out over Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) going to prison, could she have a total turnaround? Keep reading and let’s talk about what could happen with this storyline.
Like Mother, Like Daughter
Fans have watched Rachel grow up into a little girl, one who has both of her parents’ genes. One part of her is Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). So, fans expected some darkness and scheming from the little girl.
However, everyone was pretty horrified over Rachel seemingly not having any guilt or empathy over Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) hostage situation. At the time, it seemed like that was one cold little girl.
Brady Black’s Loss
Rachel has always been a lot like her mother. However, Brady is generally a good guy and has been an influence in the girl’s life.
When Brady lost custody, it meant Rachel would live at the DiMera mansion with Kristen full-time. So, of course, the girl has been traumatized.
It was only after Brady lost custody that Rachel’s antics really became extreme. Part of this might be Kristen’s constant distractions with power, greed, and revenge.
You just can’t leave the kid with a nanny every time something comes up. Do we even know this nanny? For all we know, the nanny might not be a good influence, either.
Johnny DiMera’s Trial
Moving forward, fans saw that Rachel was really affected by the secret about Johnny. Once she told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), the girl’s appetite returned and she seemed without a care in the world.
Despite being apprehensive around Johnny, Rachel still cares about him. The little girl was pretty shocked when learning that Johnny had been arrested.
Then, we see from a preview clip that Rachel freaks out over the possibility of Johnny going to prison. The little girl claims that it will be all her fault.
While it will be assumed Rachel thinks her testimony makes it her fault, there might be another reason. Could Rachel be omitting an important part of her statement? Maybe she was more involved than she initially claimed.
Rachel Black’s Transformation
Rachel is stressed over Johnny’s possible imprisonment. Rachel has also been dealing with John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) death.
Then, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has her own medical emergency when she collapses in court. All these traumatic experiences and guilt could have Rachel make a big transformation.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to see Rachel be good instead of bad? Especially if she ends up calling out her mother for every sin she commits. We shall see what happens!
