Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, May 23, end the week with a trip to Greece, where Bo’s condition worsens and Hope and Ciara prepare to say goodbye, yet again.
Shawn (Brandon Beemer) is still kicking himself for shooting his father, which is one of the many reasons why he and Steve (Stephen Nichols) tried to steal the drug that could save Bo (Peter Reckell).
But with that plan currently going very awry, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) fear the worst. Will this be Bo’s final death? One that even evil Megan (Miranda Wilson) can’t save, or steal, him from?

While Hope and Ciara [might we meet little toddler Bo and baby Adelaide on this visit?] stick by Bo’s bedside, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) stays in Salem, praying for his recovery. She’s lost so much lately, with Doug (Bill Hayes) being the worst loss.
She doesn’t deserve more pain, especially since Doug III (Peyton Meyer) has proven to be such a disappointment. Doug’s grandson isn’t going to fill the hole in her life. The least she can hope for is that Doug’s son-in-law makes a miraculous recovery and that the whole family comes home for a visit.
Prayer is nice. But it’s not exactly the most efficient system for getting your way. If a drug is what’s required to heal Bo, then Shawn and Steve won’t give up until they’ve gotten their hands on it.
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) lets Marlena (Deidre Hall) know that all hope is not lost. Bo might still pull through, just like John (Drake Hogysten) is on his way home. We know one of these stories is destined to end badly. But what if both of them do?
