It’s the time of year that fans gather around for — ta-da! — the Daytime Emmy Awards nominations! This year’s 52nd annual ceremony will take place in October, and we can’t wait to kick off the excitement with our readers by relaying the complete list of nominees, which were just announced by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Below, you’ll find The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless actors and actresses who were nominated in various categories based for their work that aired in 2024 — and remember, since Beyond the Gates didn’t premiere until February 24, 2025, no one from the show was eligible to be on the list since the period ran from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
And we even have a new category to look forward to this time around… Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Program. There is no age restriction, but a performer must have been on a soap for two years or less with their first daytime contract in a speaking role with at least one multi-episode story arc — and with no previous Daytime Emmy nominations.
We won’t make you wait any longer… Here are your soap opera nominees…

We can’t help but notice that Bold & Beautiful was shut out of nearly every category, scoring only nods in Outstanding Guest Performer and Outstanding Emerging Talent. Maybe, just maybe we’re onto something when we suggest that the repetitive dialogue and questionable continuity is dragging the show down. And the competition is only to get stiffer in 2026, when we fully expect Beyond the Gates to win nominations for Ambyr Michelle (Eva), Trisha Mann-Grant (Leslie) and more.
