Denise Richards reportedly showed up to the Calabasas, California, home where her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, lives with his parents and brother after learning that he had allegedly put down one of her dogs without her knowledge or permission.
Following the news of police activity at the property on Sunday, and reports of the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star potentially violating the restraining order she has in place against Aaron, 52, Denise’s attorney denied she committed a crime, as Aaron accused the lawyer of attempting to humiliate him.
“Ms. Richards did not violate a restraining order. On August 3, 2025, after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not present in her home, Ms. Richards entered the home to retrieve her dogs after learning that Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission,” Denise’s attorney, Brett Berman, said in an August 4 statement to TMZ.
Meanwhile, in dispatch audio obtained by PEOPLE from The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department, which determined there was no “evidence that a crime occurred,” Aaron said he “[feared] for his parents.”
Aaron also denied the claims against him, describing Denise’s attorney’s statement as “100 percent, absolutely false.”
“Not true on both accusations,” he told PEOPLE. “Denise’s attorney has consistently struck out in pursuit of the truth. There is a difference between telling the truth and trying to protect your client.”
“Having the title of attorney or being a celebrity does not put you above the law,” he continued. “It does not give you the right to humiliate others for the sake of your interests. Both of these actions have been readily apparent here in the last couple of weeks.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
