Sami Sheen, the daughter of “RHOBH” alum Denise Richards, took to social media to give advice on “toxic” relationships just one day before her stepfather Aaron Phypers filed for divorce from her mother.
“You need to ask yourself, if you had a daughter and she was dating a man like this, what would you tell her?” Sheen said in a TikTok posted on Sunday, June 6. “And then, boom. You’re like, ‘OK, I would tell her to break up with him, block him, move on …” she continued.
Sheen’s advice appeared to have nothing to do with her mother’s relationship with Aaron Phypers. Sheen referred to herself as “a motherly person” and explained why this mindset has worked for her. “… sometimes it’s so easy for me to overlook everything. But if I’m imagining having a kid and she’s getting treated like this, absolutely the [expletive] not.”
Sheen Spoke From Experience
In Sheen’s TikTok she alluded to the fact that she’d been there before when speaking on unhealthy relationships.
“I understand more than anyone it is so hard and almost feels impossible sometimes to get out of a toxic relationship …,” she said, adding that judgment from others makes it even harder. “It’s a whole cycle.”
Sheen, 21, has been very open in the past about her life, and starred on the Bravo reality show “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things” alongside her mom and sisters Lola, 20, and Eloise, 13.
During the series Sheen underwent a rhinoplasty, and in another TikTok posted in April, she candidly listed all the other cosmetic procedures she’s had done.
Sheen’s Relationship With Her Stepfather
According to Sheen, whose father is actor Charlie Sheen, she and her stepfather Aaron Phypers do not have much of a relationship with each other. She spoke about it during the April 14 episode of the “Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice” podcast, revealing, “We’re not even that close.”
She went on to say, “We don’t ever hang out, we never talk,” and said it would be a “stretch” to say she loved him. But even though it was mere months before Phypers filed divorce papers, Sheen seemed to feel that everything was fine between her stepfather and her mom.
Sheen mentioned that Phypers was “very supportive” when Richards joined OnlyFans. “He I know, like, helps her with all her content …” she explained, adding that “he makes her happy.”
