Denise Richards’ Lawyer Accuses Aaron Phypers of Putting Down Her Dog Without Permission

Denise Richards và Aaron Phypers

In a disturbing turn of events, Denise Richards‘ lawyer has just accused her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, of putting down her dog without her permission. This matter is serious, heartbreaking, and truly awful for this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum to have to endure. And for everyone else out there who loves an animal deeply, and can therefore understand the pain that Denise is now feeling. However, an Aaron-supporting source has since denied this claim. And this is what they had to say.

A source close to Aaron Phypers denies Denise Richards’ dog claims

To start, Denise and Aaron are engaged in a nasty divorce. Allegations of cheating and abuse, coming from both sides, are now sounding. Yet, this latest claim involving her dog is terrible. In a statement to PEOPLE, her lawyer, Brett Berman, explained this mess.

Earlier this week, Denise drove to her home, where Aaron, his parents, and his brother are all currently living. Thankfully, he was not present at that time, so she didn’t violate any restraining orders.

“On August 3, 2025, after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not present in her home, Ms. Richards entered the home to retrieve her dogs after learning that Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission,” her lawyer claimed.

However, someone connected to Aaron is now stating that this narrative is trash. According to them, this story is “100 percent, absolutely false.” Then, this source further claimed that Denise was yelling while banging on the door of her home, trying to gain access to her residence. When Aaron heard her voice coming from outside, he promptly left through a side door.

Meanwhile, another course spoke with TMZ, claiming that this dog had cancer. In their claim, Denise failed to care for any of her animals. So, when the vet recommended that her struggling dog needed to be (humanely) put down, that is exactly what Aaron did. Allegedly.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is now streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
