Derek Hough is so excited about the next chapter of life. He and his wife, Hayley Erbert, are expecting their first child together. The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram on July 22 with a sweet video. Now, four days later, Hough has shared some still images from the shoot he and Erbert did and his caption is so sweet.
"Already so loved," Hough wrote.
Friends and fans commented on the post, many sharing in the joy.
"Couldn’t be more happy and excited for you both," wrote former Dancing With the Stars pro Allison Holker. Hough and Erbert also received love from other DWTS family members, including Val Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas, Candace Cameron Bure and Teresa Giudice.
"So beyond thrilled and excited for you!! Congratulations," someone else said.
"The level of excitement as if I know these people is crazy!!!! lol Congrats what a beautiful journey that’s about to happen," a third fan added.

Hough and Erbert tied the knot in 2023. In late 2024, Erbert suffered a medical emergency and nearly died. The two had been on tour and Erbert fell ill while performing. She began having a seizure back stage and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Doctors found a severe brain bleed and Erbert underwent emergency surgery. Though her prognosis wasn't clear, she pulled through with flying colors and has since made a full recovery.

Kate Walsh looks like a real-life mermaid in her latest social media snap.
On Saturday, July 26, the Grey's Anatomy alum shared a special message about ocean conservation—and she had the perfect photo to use for the occasion.
In the underwater snap to Instagram on Saturday, Walsh, 57, was photographed while diving in snorkel gear as she posed next to a giant sea turtle near the ocean floor.
Dressed in a swim shirt and a pair of itty-bitty bikini bottoms, the Emily in Paris actress showed off her fit physique and super long legs, which were lengthened further by a pair of snorkel flippers on her feet.
"Growing up near the beach in Northern California, I’ve always had a profound love & deep connection to the ocean—which is why I’m extremely proud to be a longtime supporter of @Oceana, the world’s largest organization dedicated solely to ocean conservation who is celebrating their 23rd birthday today!" Walsh gushed in her caption on Saturday.
"I can’t think of a better gift than protecting the oceans that sustain us all," she added, while asking her followers to join her in supporting the organization.
"this is the most iconic photo of you," one of her fans gushed under the Instagram post, while another said Walsh looked "STUNNING" in the underwater snap.
"LOVE THIS OMG💗," someone else added.
