Did General Hospital’s Willow Just Push Sasha Into Leaving Port Charles?

It seems as if General Hospital‘s Sasha hasn’t been able to catch a break since… well, pretty much ever. Somehow, she managed to survive the loss of both true love Brando and their child, Liam. And against all odds, she managed to have a healthy, happy baby despite giving birth under the most stressful of situations.

But now, it seems she’s been pushed to the limit by recent events. And while viewers are aware that an increasingly unstable Willow has been gaslighting the new mom, Sasha only knows that someone out there has been messing with Daisy. What to do? Get outta Dodge Port Charles.

It’s worth noting that even as she contemplates this major (and literal) move, Michael has been nothing but steadfast. Even Sasha was ready for him to assume she was having mental issues again. Instead, Michael stood by his babymama.

“I don’t doubt you. I believe everything that you’ve said. I know you,” he assured her.  “You are strong and level-headed, and I’ve also seen you when you weren’t. I can tell the difference. So if you say that something strange has been going on with our daughter, I’m listening.” (You can check out the lovely moment in the clip below.)

But just how far will Michael’s support go? For that matter, how far will he allow Sasha to go? Because while he suggested that she and Daisy relocate to Mac and Felicia’s place, that wasn’t quite enough to set the new mom’s troubled mind at ease.

“The only way that I will rest easy, and know that my daughter is safe, is by getting us out of Port Charles,” Sasha declared. Not surprisingly, this has left fans desperate for information. Surely the fan-fave isn’t really going to exit the show just as happiness seems within her grasp, right?

While the rumors have been circulating, both General Hospital and Sophia Mattsson have remained tight-lipped. That said, it seems incredibly unlikely that the soap is about to write out Daisy’s mom. Rather, this is just the latest thread in a tightly-woven plot regarding Drew’s Svengali-like hold over Willow.

While the increasingly-caustic congressman isn’t directly responsible for Willow’s actions, her slow unraveling is without question an indirect result of his lies and manipulations. The real question isn’t whether Sasha will pack Daisy’s diaper bag and flee but how much longer Willow can keep her deteriorating mental state under wraps… and how far she’ll go in order to exact revenge on Michael!
