Dina Manzo Reacts to Ex Tommy Manzo Being Convicted in Assault of Husband Dave Cantin

Dina Manzo, now Cantin, isn’t often in the public eye these days, as it’s been years since she was on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. However, she got a bit of good news recently when she learned her ex, Thomas “Tommy” Manzo, had been convicted for his part in the assault of her then-boyfriend and now husband, Dave Cantin. This comes after charges were previously dropped by a judge due to the proceedings taking too long. Now, she’s celebrating the news on social media. 

Dina and Tommy got married in 2005, but the couple went their separate ways in 2012 due to allegations of him cheating. They were legally married until 2016, and she started dating Dave in 2015. The two got married two years later. Sadly, Tommy hired a mobster to mercilessly beat up Dave the same year they started dating because he was jealous of her new relationship. The hitman was in prison for three years and got out in 2023. 

Now, Dina has taken to social media to celebrate the news of justice prevailing. She posted the below picture to Instagram where she’s standing in front of a statue with her hands up. The caption consists of only the star emoji. However, this was more than enough for fans to get the message as she received an outpouring of love and support. 

Dina also took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share a pointed quote, according to Page Six.

“I call my power back to me. I call my energy back to me. I call my magic back to me,” read the quote. “I am cleansed and disconnected from anything that may drain me. I am shielded from any energy that does not serve me. I am safe. I am protected. I am whole. And so it is.”

Dina captioned the post, “And it is so.”

As for Tommy, he is facing up to 46 years in prison and a half-a-million-dollar fine. His sentencing is scheduled for October 15. We’re just glad that Dina and Dave have more peace in their lives now that Tommy has been found guilty.
