The Bachelorette season 21 contestant Sam McKinney captivated leading lady Jenn Tran on premiere night, receiving her first impression rose and the first and only kiss of the night, but do they end up engaged to each other? Jenn, a 26-year-old physician assistant student originally from Hillsdale, New Jersey, who's currently living in Miami, Florida, got her start on Joey Graziadei's Bachelor season. She made it to his Top 6 women before he said goodbye to her right before his hometown dates.

Who Is Sam McKinney? About Jenn's 'Bachelorette' S21 Contestant

Now Jenn is ready to continue her journey to find love during The Bachelorette season 21. She's making history as the first-ever Asian American Bachelor franchise lead. Jenn and Sam had a strong connection on night one. This led to her giving him her coveted first impression rose, much to the envy of the other men. She waited until the end of the night to share her first and only premiere night kiss with him, and it was very passionate. As she selects her future husband from her 25 contestants, here's the scoop on whether Jenn gets engaged to Sam in the end.

Sam Wants To Start A Family With The Woman Of His Dreams

Sam is a 27-year-old contractor from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In his Bachelorette premiere night package, shared via the show's Instagram page, he revealed that he survived a motorcycle accident that should've killed him, but he walked away without a scratch. Therefore, he's taking any opportunity he gets head-on. Sam also shared that his dream is to find a woman that he can raise a family with. Jenn has the same goal as Sam, so they seem to be a perfect match.

Do Sam & Jenn Get Engaged?

Jenn Doesn't Choose Sam In The End

Although Jenn and Sam seem to have the strongest connection so far on The Bachelorette season 21, she doesn't get engaged to him in the end. According to Reality Steve, Jenn is engaged to Devin Strader. Marcus Shoberg was her runner-up.

Jenn and Sam's emotional and physical connection is undeniable, so it'll be interesting to see why they don't make it to the end of The Bachelorette season 21 and get engaged. Jenn has done a fabulous job as the Bachelorette so far, making sure not to jump too quickly into relationships, but instead getting to know the men better first. It was refreshing to see her kiss only one man on premiere night, and not get too caught up in the moment. The Bachelorette season 21 already seems as though it might be the best one yet.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
