Paul "PK" Kemsley just celebrated his birthday amid his separation from his wife, Dorit Kemsley. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband had been clearing the air about his date of birth and his sobriety prior to his birthday. And while celebrating his birthday and opening up about his life today, PK also subtly addressed his current friendships, showing off who showed up to celebrate for him on his big day — Mauricio Umansky or Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum David Parnes.
Is PK Kemsley still friends with David Parnes?
Yes, he is. MDLLA viewers might recall that Dorit and PK showed up in Season 11, Episode 2, where they enlisted the UK-born David to help sell their home, as seen in the video above.
"I've known PK and Dorit for years," David said in the episode, which aired in January 2019. "PK is a very successful business man from London, who's also a total hard ass."
It's been a little more than five years since then, and as it turns out, David and PK are still friends. David took to his Instagram Story over the weekend, to celebrate PK, who turned 57 on Aug. 23. The real estate agent posted a photo of him with his arm around PK, both wearing navy blue suits.
"Happy bday," David wrote over the snapshot of the two of them (it's unclear if the photo is new or a throwback). "Me and my mate PK."
Although David was unable to sell the house (the couple took it off the market), it did not impact the friendship that he maintained with them. "PK and Dorit are close friends of mine and they call the shots 100 percent on THEIR house," David wrote in the caption of an Instagram post shortly after the episode aired.
"Not every deal works out, but friendships remain," he concluded.
How PK Kemsley Spent His Birthday with Mauricio Umansky
In addition to getting well wishes from David, the dad of two hung out with fellow RHOBH husband and close friend Mauricio, in Las Vegas on his birthday weekend. PK spent his birthday hard at work managing Boy George, who had a concert in the city.
In an Instagram post to his feed, PK revealed that Boy George brought him on stage and sang him "Happy Birthday." But he is more excited for what is to come in this new year, even though, he wrote in the caption of the post, it "feels strange" and he's not where he thought he'd be.
"I'm [a] work in progress, but I'm firmly in recovery," he wrote in the caption. "I have my health, my family and kids are all well, I've kept my zest for life, haven't forgotten where I come from, and definitely feel loved, I need to continue to heal, continue to laugh and joke and embrace my life as it is now, not yesterday or even tomorrow...I wanna be present, I wanna inspire, and I wanna be kind...Oh and I wanna stay sober...I read that unless you learn to face your own shadows, you will continue to see them in others, because the world outside you is a reflection of the world inside you..."
