In the Tuesday, August 12 episode of Days of Our Lives, Rachel testified, but not before EJ had another hypnosis session with Marlena. Plus, Mrs. Choi and Sophia encountered Javi and Baby Tesoro in HTS. Did EJ’s memory start to clear things up for him?
EJ Remembers The Gender of His Shooter
Before court, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) had an awkward run-in at Marlena’s, where he crossed paths with Belle (Martha Madison) as she left to go to the courthouse. She’s still mad at him and for good reason.
Once Marlena (Deidre Hall) and EJ addressed the Belle situation, Marlena put EJ under. He didn’t remember who shot him. But he did remember something — the shooter was a woman.
Was it really a woman, or could it have been a female voice in general? Because we’re still not ruling out Rachel, who was there that night and witnessed Johnny (Carson Boatman) point a gun at EJ. There’s a chance that she may be blocking out what she did.
But if it was a mature voice, then Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), Chanel (Raven Bowens), and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) need to prepare themselves for added scrutiny.

Rachel (Alice Halsey) testified as her dad and grandma were seated in the back in support. But they really didn’t have anything to worry about. She did a great job.
However, the crux of the matter became how much time had passed from when Rachel saw Johnny point a gun at EJ to when she heard the gunshot.
Rachel couldn’t give a definitive amount of time. But EJ did get her to admit that enough time had passed that Johnny could have left, and someone else could have entered the mansion, picked up the gun, and shot him.

So, for now, this could be considered good for Johnny despite his father mucking up things with Belle and the judge having to draw attention to EJ’s idiotic attempt at calling for a mistrial the day before.
