DOOL SHOCKER: Johnny Forgives EJ — But Will It Cost Him and Chanel Their Baby?!

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) will be given the green light this week to adopt Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) baby.

While Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) was on the fence for a bit, it sounds like she’ll finally give her stamp of approval.

Still, could all this be in jeopardy if and when Johnny decides to reconcile with his father?

Amy Choi Is Not A Fan Of EJ DiMera

Janel jumped through hoops to impress Amy. While Tate and Sophia have long been on board to give their baby to Johnny and Chanel, Amy has been hesitant. One of the biggest reasons behind this was because of EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Amy thinks highly of Chanel’s mom, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), and Salem’s Mayor has worked overtime to sway Amy’s decision; however, EJ and all his scandals have been the reason behind Amy’s apprehension to allow Janel to adopt the baby.

In fact, one of the factors around her being fine with Johnny and Chanel adopting could be Johnny’s detachment from EJ and the couple moving out of the DiMera mansion. Could Amy reverse her decision if EJ and Johnny reconcile?

Sami Brady’s Talk

Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that when Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) flew into town recently, one of the reasons she returned to Salem was to talk to Johnny about his conception.

Johnny’s disdain for his father was all thanks to him finding out EJ forced himself on Sami, and that his existence was a result of this. Sami was able to tell her side of the story, and why she was able to forgive EJ to move forward with him.

With everything that’s happened since Johnny cut EJ out of his life and his mom’s reasoning, will Johnny forgive and reconcile with his dad? How will this affect the adoption plans?
