Dorinda Medley Dishes on Her Dating Life and Finding Her "Dream Man"

Dorinda Medley has big plans for the new year.

While promoting the third season of Peacock’s The Traitors, The Real Housewives of New York City alum sat down with Virtual Reali-Tea to discuss her 2025 outlook and search for potential love.

“I’m going to spend 2025 doing nice things for Dorinda. That’s the title of it: ‘What Nice Thing Can I Do for Dorinda?’” she told the podcast hosts before revealing her globetrotting ambitions. “Travel. I have not traveled enough… I’m getting on one of those [travel] websites and going, ‘I want to go here.’”

Dorinda said she was finally at a place where she could be more spontaneous and relish her downtime — two perks that came with the single life. 

“Here’s the great thing about my life, especially at this point: I don’t have any husbands, Hannah is sound and good and happy,” she explained, referring to her daughter, Hannah Lynch. “I’ve ticked a lot of the boxes. I get to do whatever I want now and I’m going to take advantage of that. I’m going to allow myself, this year, to enjoy it a little bit, slow down a little bit.”

However, Dorinda made it clear she hadn’t closed the door on finding romance. In fact, she told the hosts that her “dream man” is somewhere out there, and she believes he’ll come into her life soon.

“I really do,” she confidently said. “In the last 10 years, the last decade, I just haven’t been available for anything other than work, Hannah, Blue Stone Manor (her Tudor-style residence in the Berkshires). Blue Stone Manor has been, like, my boyfriend. So, I want to kind of want to see [what happens] if I put myself out there. For some reason they won’t let me on Raya… They just tell me I’m on hold.”

Dorinda Medley says she's open to a third marriage

As most fans know, Dorinda has been married twice. She tied the knot with Ralph Lynch — Hannah’s father — in 1995 and divorced him roughly 10 years later. She then exchanged “I dos” with hedge fund advisor Richard Medley, who passed away in 2011.

When Dorinda joined RHONY in Season 7 (2015), she was dating John Mahdessian, the owner of the NYC dry cleaner Madame Paulette. The two called it quits in September 2019. 

The Massachusetts native shed more light on her romantic life during a May 2024 interview with The Mountains, saying she was still open to marriage.

“I’m saying ‘yes’ to the universe, and I don’t know what shape or form that’ll come,” she explained. “But if it comes in the form of love, I’ll take it.”
