To be honest, almost one of the first things I did when I went through divorce was to start smoking again. If you’ve ever smoked, you’ll understand how soothing it can be, though it’s definitely terrible for your health. Fortunately, I was able to kick it again later on. I hope Dorit does, too.
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent was also on the show and called the incident “the most iconic scene I’ve ever seen. Her flying down the Canyon in the G Wagon! The Canyon’s no joke, I was impressed.”
In Tuesday’s RHOBH premiere, Dorit was dealing with the repercussions of the split. Dorit and PK publicly announced their separation after nine years of marriage in May 2024. They have two young children together: Jagger, 10, and Phoenix, 8. For the time being, they have no plans to divorce.
Dorit was filmed talking to costar Erika Jayne, the only one of her cast members she confided in before the news went public. “PK and I have agreed to separate,” she told her friend. “It’s sad and it’s hard. It’s also no secret we’ve had a really rough couple of years.”
Dorit and PK are not in a “toxic place”
Dorit insisted that “no catastrophic event” brought about the end of their marriage. It was just a build-up of smaller things that finally broke their relationship.
“A week ago, there was a moment, and it was over nothing … One thing led to another,” Dorit explained. “We sat down like two very mature adults, who love and care about one another, and mutually decided that taking some space and separating is the best thing for us.”
Later in the episode, Dorit and PK mutually decided not to tell their children about the separation for the time being. “We can be doing things as a family,” Dorit said. “We’re not in a toxic place.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
