Drama Filled Dante’s Birthday Party On April 17 General Hospital

It’s his party and he’ll wrangle in his dramatic family if he wants to.

It wouldn’t be a party in Port Charles without drama on the April 17, 2025 episode of General Hospital.

The Great Debate

As everyone gathered at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) new house for Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) birthday party, it wasn’t all fun and games. Aside from Leo and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) being too busy for the festivities, Dante’s two best friends also weren’t in attendance. First there was Cody (Josh Kelly), who got held up after finding Molly (Kristen Vaganos) stuck on the side of the road and offered to give her a ride home… on his horse. Then there was Chase (Josh Swickard), who admitted to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) that he wasn’t in the party mood with the uncertainties of parenthood weighing on him.

Over at Sonny’s, guests included Lulu (Alexa Havins), Kristina (Kate Mansi), Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), Lois (Rena Sofer), and Gio (Giovanni Mazza). But before the party even began, Rocco (Finn Carr) needed to confide in his dad about his upcoming debate. After the way people have been accusing his grandmother of being too close to his grandfather, Rocco admitted Sonny shouldn’t attend his debate since Laura (Genie Francis) is coming.

Even after Sonny agreed to not attend his grandson’s debate on Rocco’s wishes, Rocco still seemed jealous of Gio when he overheard him talking about Sonny’s support for his musical career.

The Baby Secret

Things only got more dramatic from there when Olivia found out Sonny wouldn’t be going to the debate and scorned him for choosing work over his family. Meanwhile, as Lulu got to know Gio more, she learned that he was born in Los Angeles, which she remembered was where Brook Lynn and Dante’s baby was born.
