It’s certainly been an eventful Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. For Drew Sidora, her divorce with Ralph Pittman proved to be one of the messiest in RHOA history. It spilled over from Season 15 when they announced their separation and it looks like things just got worse over time.
For much of Season 16, fans watched Drew and Ralph go to the courthouse and battle over their breakup. And battle seems to be the appropriate word as Drew said she often felt like they were “at war.”
In the midst of all the animosity, the court ordered Ralph to live in the basement of their shared home. But is he still there now? And what are Drew’s future plans?
Currently it doesn’t seem like Drew has any plans of leaving the home she is currently sharing with Ralph. She appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and gave a bit of an update on the whole Ralph-in-the-basement situation.
Fans learned last year that in the midst of their divorce, Ralph was residing in the basement of his shared home with Drew. They each had their own entrances/exits into the home but it was still an uncomfortable situation. Drew admitted that it made it harder to move on but it was what it was and they tried to make the most of a bad situation.
Ralph even launched his own podcast with a cheeky nod to his living situation. The podcast is called Ralph in the Basement and where he claimed to be “standing on business” and sharing his side of the story from when he and Drew decided to part ways to now.
And now, Drew is addressing if things have changed. Sahara from Sta. Clarita asked about the status of Drew and Ralph’s relationship since he cooked for her on Memorial Day and asked if he is still living in the basement.
“That day that you guys saw when he was cooking steak was for the kids,” Drew explained. “It was Memorial Day, so I allowed him to come upstairs to feed the children. He fed me a piece of steak,” she admitted. “I’m not going lie, the steak was good. But we are still we are and he’s back in the basement. But we kept the steak upstairs.”
Drew admitted that Ralph actually loves the basement. They had previously had a flood and so the whole basement was renovated and brand new. “That’s why he loves it so much,” Drew shared. “Meanwhile I am miserable.”
Looks like their shared living situation isn’t changing any time soon.
