Drew Sidora Says Porsha Williams ‘Wasn’t Able to Deliver’ the Comeback RHOA Fans Wanted

In Season 16 of The Real Housewives of AtlantaDrew Sidora has spent nearly every episode on the defensive. She’s defending herself in court from her estranged husband as they navigate a messy divorce. She’s also defending herself against Porsha Williams, who is convinced that Drew is having an inappropriate relationship with Dennis McKinley, the father of her child.

The divorce will work itself out eventually, but when it comes to Porsha, Drew feels things are being misconstrued. During a recent episode of Reality with the King with Carlos King, she explained why she believes that Porsha is using her for a storyline.

When Bravo announced that Porsha was returning to RHOA for Season 16, we assumed we would see her new life with Simon Guobadia. Then, the news dropped that they were divorcing. Plus, Simon said he didn’t want her to bring cameras into their home.

The restrictions from Simon meant that Porsha needed to pivot, and that’s where Drew comes into play. On Reality with the King, Drew theorized that Porsha used her and Dennis to make up for her own lack of a storyline.

“I don’t think the fans are buying it,” Drew explained. “I think Porsha was brought here to give a life and a story that she wasn’t able to deliver, and so that is the reason my name is brought up in every scene, every episode, every moment — even in her confessionals.”

Drew reiterated that her relationship with Dennis has been professional rather than romantic. Drew noted that he’s not her type because she prefers “biceps over bellies.” Either way, Drew argued that Porsha knew about her working relationship with Dennis.

“I think the fans are seeing it. The fans are really smart,” Drew continued. “Like, I can say that this season, the people can see what it really is. Porsha and I had a conversation, and I told her about me working with Dennis.”

According to Drew, she reached out to Porsha multiple times to let her know about her project with Dennis. Supposedly, Porsha “loved” the music Drew was working on with Dennis. She only got mad about it once the cameras started rolling.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs every Sunday on 8/7c on Bravo and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
