Dancing With the Stars pros Alan Bersten and Emma Slater are soaking up the sun in Hawaii.
In a Saturday, May 24, Instagram carousel, Bersten, 30, shared a snap of the twosome on a kayaking outing, while in another pic he placed his arm around her as they smiled for the camera. In another image, Slater, 36, embraced Bersten from behind as they swam underneath a waterfall.
“Our first few days in Kauai! Truly unbelievable 🙏🏼,” Bersten captioned the upload. “This is what happiness looks like to me.”
Back in October 2024, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Bersten and Slater were “hooking up.” The insider noted that the romance was “not new” and has been “ongoing.”
While the pair have yet to set the record straight about their relationship status, Bersten and Slater shared a kiss onstage at the DWTS tour’s final live show in April. Later that month, Bersten reacted to the online frenzy about their smooch.
“Did it go viral?” Bersten exclusively asked Us of the moment. “We’re just enjoying life.”
Bersten confessed he was “a little bit” surprised that their kiss went viral. “It was an incredible tour and I’m sad that it came to an end,” he said. “But also there are so many good moments.”
Since the tour came to a close, Slater traveled to New York City to cheer on Bersten as he ran the 2025 RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon. In a photo shared via Instagram earlier this month, Slater held Bersten in her arms after he crossed the finish line.
“We did it!!!! My first half marathon! That was so hard! My official time was 1:38:43!” Bersten captioned the post. “Shout out to all these incredible runners. So proud of you @dannydlawn and I’m so happy @theemmaslater was here to support me!!”
Slater, for her part, was previously married to fellow DWTS pro Sasha Farber for four years. The exes divorced in 2023. Slater later shared that their split came down to “the kid thing.”
“It’s interesting because I do want to have kids. I just don’t want to delay Sasha’s path in having kids because I know that he is ready for that,” Slater said on a 2023 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “I don’t want to talk about him too much because that’s really for him to say, but it’s about kids. I do want kids. I don’t know what it is, I’m just figuring that out for myself. It’s not something I take lightly and I don’t want to enter into something that I’m not sure about because I would never do that.”
Despite their separation, Slater and Farber have remained on good terms. “We really are close friends,” Slater told Us in June 2024. “He’s somebody who’s in my life forever. It’s a true genuine connection and he’s the best person, just absolutely amazing. We just get on really, really well.”
