In an interview with Today in February 2025, she discussed how she combines her life as a wildlife conservationist with being a parent. “Just recently, we released a sea turtle back into the wild. She really developed a bond with it,” she said of her daughter Grace.
Bindi also spoke about Grace’s emotions. “Her feelings and emotions are very, very big, and I love that so much about her,” she told Today. “The things that are important to a 3-year-old are so fabulous, and I try really hard to take them seriously. If Grace wants her Elsa doll to meet the tortoises, for example, her mom says, ‘OK, we’re going to make this work.’ I try to say yes to as much as I can.”
