"Dancing With the Stars” alum Kym Johnson Herjavec made a heartbreaking announcement on Instagram on June 12 when she informed fans of the death of her beloved Lola. Johnson Herjavec posted a collection of photos of herself and her family interacting with their dog, and the sweet post highlights just what an important part of their lives Lola was.
Johnson Herjavec revealed in the caption just how deeply they would feel her loss.
Johnson Herjavec shared her thoughts in the caption of her post, referring to Lola as “my best friend, my little showgirl, my heart on four legs.“ She continued, “For 18 incredible years, Lola filled my life with unconditional love and gave me countless memories I’ll cherish forever. She was more than a pet — she was my first baby.”
In her post, the professional dancer also thanked several friends who helped her care for Lola, and she claimed that “Everyone who met Lola loved her,” including her husband, Robert Herjavec. “Thank you for choosing me, Lola. I wouldn’t trade the sadness I feel today for anything, because it came from the joy and love you gave me for all those years,” Johnson Herjavec wrote. “Run free, my little showgirl, You’ll always be in my heart.”
Johnson Herjavec has been married to Herjavec since 2016, after the couple met on “Dancing With the Stars” Season 20. They also have twins named Hudson Robert and Haven Mae Herjavec, who appeared in photos of Johnson Herjavec’s recent post. The twins were born in 2018 and have known Lola their whole lives.
The emotion in Johnson Herjavec’s post is impossible to ignore, and fans have been touched by the sweet tribute she made for her beloved pet dog. Fans have shown their support in the comment section of the Instagram post, with messages expressing their love and understanding for what she is going through.
