DWTS Season 33 Semi-Finalist Stuns in Bikini Snaps & Fans Are Loving the Pics

Season 33 “Dancing With the Stars” semi-finalist Ilona Maher shared some new pictures on Instagram after a photoshoot with Sports Illustrated.

“I ain’t missing no meals,” Maher captioned a post on February 12. Maher shared four pictures from the photoshoot, all featuring her wearing a white bikini on a beach.

Maher’s time on DWTS was marked by her body positivity and fans absolutely loved watching her journey unfold. The Olympic Rugby player has gained popularity and these new photos prove that she’s still got it.

It didn’t take long for the comments section of Maher’s post to fill up with positive comments.

“I’m not even an athlete and just watching your journey and who you are is so inspiring, thank you for being a girls girl,” one person wrote.

“My husband is openly perving over you in front of me. To be fair, I did say ‘OMG, what an absolute unit of womanhood,’ so I was doing it too,” a third comment read.

Ilona Maher’s Message About Body Positivity Started Long Before Her Time on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Maher has been doing her best to squash stereotypes and that started before she joined “Dancing With the Stars.”

“I think the stereotype around a rugby player is this idea that you need to drop your femininity and play a very masculine, brutal sport,” Maher said in August 2024, according to the Associated Press.

“Myself and my team and some others on the circuit like Australia and Ireland, are showing that femininity. We are doing our makeup before games, wearing makeup, wanting to feel pretty out there,” she continued, adding, “But that doesn’t take away from how amazing we tackle and hit and run. You can be those things, and the stereotypes around women’s sports just should be thrown out the window now.”

Maher wrapped up her time on DWTS with an incredible freestyle performance to the song, “Femininomenon” by District 78 featuring Mona Rue. Fans loved watching her own the dance floor with the help of her pro partner Alan Bersten. And, although she didn’t win the Mirrorball Trophy, fans will tell you that she won something even bigger.
