Both viewers and his fellow co-hosts have talked about the energy he brings to the broadcast and how he serves as the glue to really keep the team energized. With as much energy and enthusiasm as Michael Strahan has, many viewers think he would be perfect for a show like Dancing With The Stars.
Fans Want Michael Strahan On Dancing With The Stars, Will He Join?
Michael Strahan has busted a move more than once during live broadcasts, and many of his biggest fans believe he has the right moves to be part of a popular show like Dancing With The Stars. Recently, Strahan opened up about the show, as well as whether or not he would ever consider competing as part of it. So, what did he have to say?
Alfonso Ribeiro recently showed up as a guest on Good Morning America. While there, the Dancing With The Stars co-host was asked who from the sports world he believes would make a good fit to compete on the show. With that line of questioning, Michael Strahan already knew where this was going, because he interjected with, “Don’t be pointing at me.”
Ribeiro went on to say: “I think, listen, if there was a guy. I think if he played for the Giants at one point in his life. You know, he’d bring the whole New York audience, right?”
Despite his objection, Michael Strahan decided to show off his dance moves right there on the Good Morning America set before finishing with, “That’s as much as you get.”
Michael Strahan Reveals Why He Won’t Compete On Dancing With The Stars
Strahan went on to say in this recent Good Morning America segment: “This is the thing; this is what scared me. Every professional football player and athlete who has been on the show said it was the hardest thing they’ve ever done. If it was harder than football was for me, I cannot fathom it at this point in my life.”
Even though Strahan made it clear that he has no aspirations to compete on Dancing With The Stars, many people, including Ribeiro, would love to see him on. So, many people are hoping that he might change his mind.
