Rumer Willis, who was crowned the season 20 “DWTS” champion in 2015, grabbed attention in an interesting toilet paper ad that has been making the rounds on social media.
In the video, first posted in December 2024, Willis sits on a toilet in a floor-length crochet dress and lifts her toddler daughter onto her lap. The toddler happily nurses while Willis discusses the benefits of Plant Paper, a brand of bamboo toilet paper she says stands out for being free of PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals,” making it gentler on the skin and safer for the body. The product is also promoted as being more environmentally friendly than its conventional counterparts.
As you know, Willis was partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy for her run on “Dancing With the Stars.” After winning, People says she reacted by telling him in Instagram post, “I am truly grateful to call you my friend and I am so proud that we won together, I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else.”

The 36-year-old’s appearance in an ad for non-toxic toilet paper ties into her health and wellness practices she frequently shares with fans on her Instagram. Around June 17, she shared that she recently went live on the app to discuss “how indoor air quality can deeply affect our health, our children’s development, our nervous systems, and even our sleep.”
She said in another recent post that she has been spending her days “walking around the backyard, making potions, planting flowers and reading in the sun.”
In a January 2025 Instagram post announcing she was moving out of her home in Los Angeles, the actress included giving birth in her living room on her list of top memories at the home. A June 2023 People report says Willis went into detail about her homebirth on the “Informed Pregnancy” podcast, sharing that she even broke her own water.
“I reached my finger up there, and I’m feeling and it was crazy. I could totally feel this little bag — it feels like a water balloon, but with a bit tougher skin,” she said. She said she successfully “popped it” and delivered her daughter moments later, per the story.
Rumer Willis Reflected On ‘Trail of Vengeance’ Role
Around June 17, 2025, Willis took to her Instagram to reflect on her recent role in the Johnny Remo film “Trail of Vengeance” in which she plays a frontier woman who has lost her husband.
The starlet described her role in the period piece as “waking up a part of myself I didn’t know was waiting.” She compared her character to “a lioness” before adding, “To find her, I had to root into my own quiet strength. Katherine let me embody unapologetic power while staying soft, and reminded me that those two things can live side by side.”
