On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Stone and Diego Luna discussed Pascal’s current “takeover” of Hollywood
Emma Stone has nothing but praise — and lust? — for Pedro Pascal.
"He is so wonderful,” the actress-producer, 36, told guest host Diego Luna on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, June 26. Stone stars with Pascal, 50, in the new Ari Aster film Eddington (in theaters July 18).
“He's talented, gorgeous, nice, funny,” raved the Oscar winner, before jokingly concluding, “I'd f--- him.”
Pascal, as Luna noted, helped Stone during a wild — and viral — moment on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet at the May 16 Eddington premiere. In a clip posted by Variety, a bee got up close and personal with Stone, who shrank away while Pascal and costar Austin Butler swatted and blew on the interloper.
When Luna brought up the possibility that Butler, 33, blew the bee toward Stone and brought it to the carpet as a prank, Stone quipped, “I almost guarantee you, if anyone brought the bee, it was Pedro... He probably unleashed that bee.”
The two also discussed the fact that 2025 is, needless to say, a busy year for Pascal. The Chilean-American actor stars in HBO’s The Last of Us, rom-com Materialists (in theaters now), Eddington and The Fantastic Four: First Steps (in theaters July 25), plus several upcoming Star Wars and Marvel projects.
“He’s everywhere,” said Stone. “I guess it's not a Pedro-ssance. It's the Pedro takeover.”
“Pedro has become the new Coca-Cola,” agreed Luna.

Writer-director Aster’s Eddington, which costars Joaquin Phoenix, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O'Connell, Micheal Ward and more, is in theaters July 18. It’s the COVID-19-era story of "a standoff between a small-town sheriff (Phoenix) and mayor (Pascal)" that "sparks a powder keg as neighbor is pitted against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico."
Also among Stone’s upcoming projects is her regular collaborator Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia (in theaters Oct. 24) and Cruella 2.
