Erika Jayne says Teddi Mellencamp is doing better than expected amid her cancer battle.
“She’s doing very well,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 53, exclusively tells Page Six Thursday following her “Masked Singer” exit. “She’s very active and she’s living her life to the fullest.“
Jayne, Mellencamp and fellow “RHOBH” co-star Kyle Richards recently hung out together, per a post shared on the latter’s Instagram Stories this week.
The “Pretty Mess” singer says the group got together to celebrate the birthday of one of their girlfriend’s, where she had the chance to catch up with her “Diamonds in the Rough” podcast co-host during the cozy night in.
Jayne tells us she is remaining “strong” for Mellencamp, 43, who is in the “fight of her life.”
The Bravo star concludes that her pal’s closest friends will continue to “be there for her.”
Despite all of the support around her, Mellencamp admitted Wednesday that she feels “very alone.”
“Sometimes I am so focused on ‘being strong’ that I forget I am allowed to be sad, cry it out, and feel very alone,” the reality star — who is battling stage 4 cancer and has multiple tumors in her brain — confessed to her Instagram followers.
She added at the time, “I love my kids, friends, and family so much and am forever grateful to them but dang today is one of those days.”
Mellencamp is holding out hope that she will beat out the deadly disease, and clarified via social media Thursday that any plans her father may have regarding her burial are not to be taken seriously.
“I need to clarify that this was a light-hearted conversation, laughing the whole time,” she revealed of the post-mortem discussion she had with her dad, John Mellencamp.
While Teddi is taking her hardships with a sense of humor, drama in the “Housewives” universe continues.
Page Six also asked Jayne about a recent Season 14 reunion moment when Garcelle Beauvais got choked up in her trailer after she made a dig that she was not very “interesting.”
“I think she should have had that emotion for Sutton [Stracke],” the “How Many F–ks” singer says. “What I said … obviously it triggered her, but … I’ve seen a lot meaner things said at a reunion.”
In response to Beauvais’ exit from the show, Jayne adds, “We definitely need some new blood, and I’m sure that casting is out there looking and you never know who might walk through the door.”
Part 3 of the “RHOBH” reunion airs next Tuesday. “The Masked Singer” — in which Jayne competed as Yorkie — airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
