The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member recently revealed whether or not marriage is her future, again.
Erika Jayne is telling all about her love life following her split from her ex-husband, Tom Girardi. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member appeared on Teddi Mellencamp's podcast, Two T's in a Pod, where she joined her to recap a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. It was while watching the show that Erika noted the biggest difference between the OC and Beverly Hills casts — all of the Housewives on the OC "have a man" while the ladies of Beverly Hills are "all single."
Not that Erika has a problem with this. Erika told Teddi that after kicking off "the separation streak" among her RHOBH cast members, there is "no hope" for her, and she is "never going back" to dating.
Does Erika Jayne want to get married again after Tom Girardi divorce?
Don't count on it. "I don't think so," she told Teddi after she asked her the question. "I don't feel that that's where I'm at."
"I have a lot of work to do and I really just want to be successful on my own. I have, for the first time, my own thing," she said. "For real, for real. And being a grown-up, you know? Like this isn't being 20 and being married to your husband and having a child...ttom his is Erika out on her own doing it, and it feels good."
Erika noted that she wants to explore the side of her that she never got to do while she had been married. "I want to see what else I can do because, if you're involved with a man, and certainly with a powerful man, there's a price to pay. First off, any man," she explained. "Nothing is free in this world. And you know, the more powerful, the more wealthy, the more price."
After living alone in her Los Angeles bungalow, Erika has grown to love her independence. She said that "it's horrible" to feel as if you're "under someone's finger" and doesn't want to be controlled in a marriage. "I revolt...my personality changes," she said.
Is Erika Jayne dating again?
During her Bravo special, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde, which aired in March 2024, the singer revealed whether or not she is dating again. Although she doesn't have a boyfriend, she said during the special that she does "think about" dating again.
"I mean, I'm a single woman, but I think that right now, the focus is on rebuilding and moving forward," she said during the special. "I'm sure that, you know, something great will come into my life in the right time...I'm sure at some point, the right relationship will show up, but right now, I enjoy being a private person. I enjoy just kind of getting back on my feet and that's what I've tried to do for, like, a couple years now."
