Erin and Abe Lichy have been happily married for more than a decade, but are they "swingers"? Well...
Are Erin and Abe Lichy really looking to spice up their marriage?
Well, not yet, anyway.
Erin — who recently announced she was expecting the couple’s fourth child — addressed rumors to Bravo HQ that she and husband Abe are “swingers” after gossip began to fly that the couple may use some unconventional ways to keep the excitement in their marriage.
Erin denied romancing anyone outside of their marriage, but she surprisingly didn’t rule it out in the years ahead.
“I don’t know how that even started. I think like Abe and I were talking at dinner with Sai (De Silva) and David (Craig) about like, ‘Oh, when we get older, like, we would,’ I don’t know, we were, he just — he f-cks around,’” Erin said of how Abe unintentionally started the salacious rumor in Season 14. “Um, but then, that like, took a life of its own. Everyone was like, ‘Oh, you’re swingers.’ We’re not swingers. But like, who knows, would we invite a third person in 20 years? I don’t know. Maybe.”
Erin went on to add that the couple may have had the perfect opportunity for a threesome on a recent kid-free vacation to Spain, but the real estate agent was admittedly a “little vanilla” and passed on the possible rendezvous.
“We were in Spain and we were at a club and, like, there was a girl that was really hitting on me and I thought about it,” she admitted, before telling fellow Housewife Racquel Chevremont “I’m still a little vanilla. I need to explore.”
While Erin may have had some reservations, her husband, Abe, was all too ready to jump at the opportunity.
“Abe was like, ‘This is — this is the moment! This is the time, like it’s happening,” she joked. “And I just couldn’t go through with it.”
Erin may have put the brakes on adding anyone new into the mix in Spain, but she wasn’t willing to write off the possible life experience completely just yet and told Racquel that she might revisit the issue “when the kids are grown.”
Erin wasn’t the only one to spill the tea on some juicy marriage rumors.
Jessel Taank also opened up in the clip about her marriage to Pavit Randhawa, admitting that when they initially tied the knot it was somewhat out of necessity.
According to her account, the British native was already working in the United States and had been dating Pavit for “about a year” when she learned her visa was about to expire.
“We were pretty serious,” she said. “I mean, I knew that this was probably the guy I was gonna marry, unless he does something like, really f-cked up.”
So, when someone from her human resources department at work called her in and told her that she only had “two or three months” before her visa was set to expire, he was the first person she turned to.
“I called Pavit right away. I remember I was in the stairwell of the building, like the fire exit, and I was like um, ‘So, I have three months on my visa. I’ve been dating you for a year. Are you serious about, like, us?’” she recalled.
Although Pavit first responded with a noncommittal “yeah,” the food influencer was soon ready to make their union official.
“Long story short, I made him marry me,” Jessel laughed.
It turned out to be the right move. The couple has been happily married for more than a decade and share twin sons Kai and Rio.
