Erin Lichy is sharing more of her perspective on her husband Abe Lichy's decision to sell some of their Bitcoin without her knowledge.

Meet TV's new 'Housewife Erin Lichy: 'Lots of juggling'

ICYMI, on Season 15, Episode 2 of The Real Housewives of New York City (which aired on October 8), Erin told castmate Ubah Hassan she had recently discovered that Abe sold some of their shared Bitcoin without telling her first. Erin had also just found out about her mom Dorothy's breast cancer diagnosis.

After the episode aired, Erin appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and she explained why she had mixed emotions about Abe's decision.

"It's confusing, this one. Yeah, I'm confused too," she said. "There were other things that Abe had just made decisions [on], and we're partners and we have to talk about things. And I think that's what really got to me."

"Was it a lot of money?" host Andy Cohen asked.

"There were a few that, yes, amounted to a good amount of money," Erin clarified. "I mean, he was trying to do the right thing and not stress me out — he knew that I was going through a lot, but, ultimately, I'd rather have the communication."

Andy then asked the mom of three if she was surprised when Abe said that he only kept the sale secret because he was trying to protect Erin in an interview on the episode.

"I'm not surprised, because I know that's what he thought he was doing," Erin said.

Erin Lichy and Abe Lichy's marriage woes on RHONY Season 15, explained

As Erin explained in an interview on the RHONY episode, Abe made certain financial decisions "without discussing it" with her.

"But the problem was that the truth came out right in the middle of me dealing with my mom and everything that we’re going through, so I wasn't able to lean on him because he betrayed me and I was furious with him and it just added so much more stress," she added.

In an interview of his own, Abe explained why he did what he did.

"I didn’t feel like my wife didn’t deserve to know something, I just didn’t want to add to the stress that she’s dealing with in her life. If you’re together with somebody, there’s that inclination to protect them, but, in the long run it’s not the right thing to do," he shared.

While talking to Erin, Abe said that he had recently made efforts to be better at "real-time communicating," and the RHONY 'Wife agreed.

"I know you are, which is why I’m still sitting here in front of you," she said.
