Abe and Erin Lichy,

Just before the “RHONY” reunion, Lichy appeared on Deux Moi’s hit podcast, “DeuxU,” and shared what he had heard about the rumored cast shake-up. His appearance followed a season that many fans called “boring” until the finale took an unexpectedly dark turn. The dramatic ending and its fallout fueled speculation that Bravo wouldn’t keep the current cast intact.

During the interview, Deux clarified that she and Lichy had been longtime friends and that none of her previous scoops came from him. She then asked if he and Erin felt surprised when Shed Media announced an open casting call for season 16.

Lichy admitted that Bravo blindsided the cast by making the announcement without warning but said he wasn’t completely shocked that producers wanted fresh faces.

“I think the show needs a shake-up next season,” he said. “Let’s be honest, most of the season was pretty boring. Things only got interesting toward the end.”

He added that while the finale escalated to an intense level, the show still had strong potential. “The raw materials are there,” he explained. “They could bring in some fresh blood, maybe swap out one or two cast members. I’m curious to see where they take it.”

Abe Lichy Revealed the ‘RHONY’ Cast Will Definitely Not Include One Star of Season 15

While Lichy claimed he had no idea about the producers’ final casting decisions, he did confirm that at least one “RHONY” star from season 15 would not return.

When Deux asked if any cast members had outright said they wouldn’t be back, Lichy simply replied, “Yes.”

“There is at least one person I’m fairly certain won’t return,” he added. “I don’t think I can say the name, but I’d be very surprised if this person came back. And I think there might be another one, maybe two, who also don’t return—probably a mutual decision.”

Fans immediately speculated that Rebecca Minkoff might be the cast member exiting, especially since Deux pointed out that the fashion designer doesn’t even live in New York City full-time.

As for the other potential departures, could Lichy have meant Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan? Their explosive fight in Puerto Rico caused the season and trip to end abruptly. While Lichy didn’t name them, rumors have been swirling that at least one of them might leave. Whitfield, in particular, faces intense backlash at the reunion—even from her former ally, Jenna Lyons.
