The RHOA alum shared the relationship update more than two years after she and Michael split.
Is Eva Marcille spinning the block with Michael Sterling? All signs point to yes.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum sparked reconciliation rumors earlier this month, nearly two years after she and Michael finalized their divorce. Eva hinted at the rekindled romance in a July 5 Instagram Reel in which she and her ex-husband were seen riding a golf cart at EssenceFest 2025.
“Happy Essence,” Eva said in the clip, before placing her head on Michael’s shoulder.
“I’m floating,” the caption read. “Soft launch.”
Although she didn’t confirm the status of her and Michael’s relationship, the term “soft launch” is typically used to introduce a new or rekindled romance without a formal announcement.
Eva’s post has since garnered more than 100,000 “likes” and thousands of comments, some of which came from Eva’s fellow Bravolebrities. RHOA alum Kandi Burruss and The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Gretchen Rossi responded with heart emojis, and The Real Housewives of New York City’s Ubah Hassan commented, “Cue the happy dances.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac alum Charrisse Jackson-Jordan added, “Always rooting for family love. All the very best,” while Seed founder Valeisha Butterfield simply wrote, “Love wins.” Eva responded to the latter with, “Always.”
Eva and Michael tied the knot in October 2018 and welcomed two children together: sons Mikey Todd and Maverick Sterling. The actress/model entered the relationship with a daughter, Marley Rae, whom Michael adopted in 2019.
Eva confirmed her marital split in a March 2023 statement to People magazine, saying her relationship with Michael was “irretrievably broken.”
“This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting,” she told the outlet. “Our children remain our biggest priority and the eight and a half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
Shortly after the divorce news broke, Michael made it clear it wasn’t a mutual decision.
“I am not going to lose my wife,” the attorney told The Jasmine Brand. “I am going to fight for her with every fiber in my being. I love her, and I plan to show her how much I love her and that our love is strong enough to get to the other side. I am not going to lose my wife. I am going to win her back.”
