Everything You Didn’t See at The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 Reunion

What happened behind the scenes of the RHOP reunion? 

When host Andy Cohen cuts for commercial, most of the women use it as an opportunity to stand up, stretch, and touch up their glam. Almost all the Potomac ladies chose to check out how they looked using their phone camera, although Gizelle brought her own tiny bedazzled mirror for any primping. Production also got to work making sure everything continued to be picture perfect, fluffing the couch pillows and moving things around on set.

The set itself was inspired by the women's trip to Panama this season, complete with tropical foliage, a Spanish Colonial-style house with a blue balcony, hanging sun hats, and a sign that read "La Posada Del Potomac."

And though the Housewives sparred while discussing the events of the past season, when they had breaks, they were often able to put it aside to gossip and laugh with one another. They regularly complimented each other's makeup and clothing, for starters, and even had a discussion about how difficult it is to get good veneers that look authentic. At another point, they debated the merits of Chik-Fil-A. Although, that wasn't on the lunch menu — instead the options included fried chicken, salmon, tofu, rice, mashed potatoes, and green beans.

Speaking of lunch: During that extended break, Ashley wrapped herself in a brown fur coat to keep warm. Meanwhile, Andy made sure to congratulate Stacey on her first reunion, telling her she was doing a good job. Many of the other ladies used it as an opportunity to rest, confer with their glam team, and take photos.

It wasn't all smooth sailing, though: Jacqueline hugged most of the women after she left the couch but she did tell the group she remembered "each and every" person who congratulated her on her pregnancy — and who didn't.

Still, almost all of the Real Housewives were able to end the reunion on a positive note, happily posing for pictures and toasting to the future afterward.
