Ex-Flyers Forward Scores First Goal With New Team

Back in late August, former Philadelphia Flyers forward Nick Cousins signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Ottawa Senators. The move ultimately made sense for the Senators, as they needed more grit and overall forward depth for their bottom six.

Cousins is now making an impact with the Senators, as he scored his first goal with the club in their most recent matchup against the Colorado Avalanche.

Cousins' first goal as a Senator was a nice one, too, as he picked up a Tim Stutzle rebound in front and quickly back-handed it home.

Cousins spent the first three seasons of his NHL career with the Flyers, where he had 12 goals, 27 points, and 112 hits in 107 games.
