During the final stretch of the 2024-25 season, the Boston Bruins recalled several of their prospects from the AHL. Fraser Minten was among the most notable, and the 20-year-old forward showed promise while given the opportunity to play on the Bruins' roster.

Minten scored a goal and recorded 12 hits in six games with the Bruins following his call-up. Overall, the Vancouver, British Columbia native did not look too out of place, and the expectation is that he will compete for a spot on the Bruins' NHL roster for next season.
Minten just completed his first AHL regular-season split between the Toronto Marlies and Providence Bruins, and it went well. In 37 games, he had nine goals and 20 points. He notably stood out after joining Providence, however, posting three goals and seven points in 11 regular-season contests.
Minten also demonstrated at the WHL level that he has good offensive upside. During his final WHL season split between the Kamloops Blazers and Saskatoon Blades, he had 22 goals and 48 points in just 43 games. Thus, the potential for him to become an impactful offensive contributor for the Bruins is there.
Minten is one of the Bruins' top prospects, and he is continuing to improve as he gains experience. Due to this, it is hard not to feel optimistic about him taking a step forward in his game next season. This is especially so when noting that the Bruins will have spots on their roster to fight for.

Nevertheless, it will be fascinating to see how much of an impact Minten makes for the Bruins next season.
