After Chelsea Meissner sold her renovated 1960s ranch house in 2020 (you can revisit that property in the video above), she moved into a 1950s ranch house and performed a "MAJOR renovation". The Southern Charm alum elevated her kitchen with a dazzling emerald backsplash and brightened up her front porch area with several gorgeous plants, among many other things.
Chelsea also spiced up her bedroom with a complete "transformation," via her good friend and designer Kim Wolfe, with a "tongue and groove" addition to her vaulted ceiling and stunning, Western-inspired elements throughout.
In a June 18 Instagram Story, Chelsea gave her Instagram followers a peek inside her sunny, serene bedroom these days, and we were once again transfixed by those beautiful design elements.
In a mirror selfie, Chelsea showed off the room's rustic, burnt orange-and-cream-colored curtains that decorated the large windows with bamboo shades.
The room also featured a charcoal gray velvet bed frame and a large light brown flatweave area rug overlaid with a chic black-and-white rug. Chelsea outfitted the space with two white-patterned chairs and vibrant, pastoral art pieces on the walls for an extra beautiful touch.
Inside Chelsea Meissner’s Nursery
In addition to sharing the details of her exquisite bedroom, Chelsea brought her followers into her new baby's nursery in September 2023. Needless to say, we were taken with the room's eye-catching details.
In the room, we saw a six-drawer dresser from Antiques of South Windermere in Charleston, a three-blade white-and-gold ceiling fan from Charleston Lighting, and a bohemian-style crib from Bali Jax Living.
The room also featured floating shelves with delightful children's books, a white armchair and an bottom, Nantucket-style sconces with rattan shades, a beige-and-cream-colored checked throw blanket, a sweet painting of a mother cradling a child by artist Amanda Ryan Tucker.
Another tender detail? A sketch of Chelsea's beloved late pup, Tyson, by The Traveling Canvas, that the new mom framed and hung on what appeared to be a textured wallpaper.
Chelsea reflected on the "circle of life" after Tyson's passing in a touching April 2023 Instagram video which showed an ultrasound of her baby with whom she was pregnant at the time.
"The circle of life is a powerful thing. When Tyson passed, I knew I could never love another soul nearly as much unless I had a child of my own.. now here we are with one on the way," Chelsea shared. "You just never know what God has in store for you. I’m so fortunate to have strong women in my life who have paved the road for me to motherhood."
