It was an action-packed week in Genoa City!
The Young and the Restless knows how to bring the drama and June 9-13 was no exception. From familiar faces showing back up in town to Kyle being put to the test, it was a week we’ll never forget!
Welcome Back!
Monday brought two familiar faces back to town. How we love when Danny (Michael Damian) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) are around. Their trip to Crimson Lights had Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) beaming with joy. And, later in the week, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) got the reunion he so desperately needs right now. What we can’t wait for, though, is to see another Christine and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) showdown. They can never get along for very long and Genoa City is definitely not big enough for the both of them.
Speaking of familiar faces, Amy (Valarie Pettiford) also returned to the scene. And, we have to say, Friday’s little lunch with Damian (Jermaine River) really had us on edge. He claims he’s a changed man. He claims he has no idea who Dumas is despite working for and being fired by the guy. He also swears he’s worried about bringing trouble to his extended family. Is any of that true, though? Or, is Damian nothing more than a sleeper cell spy? Time will tell!
Mother Girlfriend May I?
When it comes to all the Dumas drama, there were a whole host of people packing their bags and getting ready to jet-set to the party. While we fully expected the Newmans and Winters to lead the way, it’s fun to see the Abbotts readying to join in the fun…or chaos. The one thing that kind of rubbed us the wrong way on Thursday…Kyle announcing he got permission to go. Yes, PERMISSION. From Claire. Isn’t Claire a new gal pal and not much more? Odd he’s need to ask. But, hey, we have to hand it to the man for respecting his woman’s wishes. Let’s hope it’s not something he later regrets.
