Damian’s death took us all by surprise. A mysterious individual with black leather gloves flung a knife into his back. The Young and the Restless fans put their detective hats on to figure out who it could be. The knife could’ve been meant for Cane, who was with Damian at the moment of the crime. Maybe it was Cane’s father, who’s not dead after all.
Killer Daddy?
This shocking twist was brought up on the soap opera message boards. Most Y&R fans were rooting for Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and his relationship with Lily (Christel Khalil). Sadly, that ended before it began. The original poster wrote, “I am sad to see Damian get killed, and I am sure that Colin is not dead by the way he threw that knife.” That was a bold declaration
Other fans took to the thread to speculate whether Colin (Tristan Rogers) is the murderer. “I also think it’s Colin. I never believed he died,” one user wrote. “Well, if it IS Colin, hopefully he hasn’t been recast with an actor 15 years younger and no accent,” another fan joked. They referred to Billy Flynn’s portrayal of Cane, which is a departure from Daniel Goddard’s role.
Killer Lady?
Meanwhile, other fans have a delicious twist to this storyline. They think the gloved individual is a woman. One fan speculated that it could’ve been Lily who was trying to kill Cane. “My money’s on Lily throwing that knife! She could have learned knife-throwing skills in prison,” the user wrote.
Other fans noticed that Sharon (Sharon Case) went missing. Did she have a temporary lapse of insanity? “Sharon went missing from the group right at the same time the knife was thrown. Hmm,” mused one user. Yes, Sharon went missing, and Nick cannot find her. Very interesting indeed,” to which a fan responded.
Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have been attached at the hip. But all of a sudden, she’s left his side? Something is amiss here. Also, it’s possible that Damian wasn’t the intended target. Unfortunately, he met his fate too soon. What are your thoughts on this murder?
